Counselling can be incredibly useful.  But sometimes we need immediate assistance.  At other times, we need a bit of information or a strategy we can use on our own time.

BounceBack – Free skill-building program managed by CMHA.  It is designed to help adults and youth 15+ manage low mood, mild to moderate depression and anxiety, stress or worry.  Services are delivered over the phone or through on-line videos

Trans Lifeline – a grassroots hotline offering direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis – for the trans community, by the trans community. 1-877-565-8860.


Supports related to Domestic Violence or Sexual Assault

Supports for Youth

BeSafe App – created by (another great resource!) for youth.  This app stores a personalized safety plan and links to local resources.  Available in English, French, and Arabic.
