Dr. Anne Toth received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1977. She graduated from the University of Windsor with her Bachelor of Social Work (Hons.) in 1980 and achieved her Master of Social Work degree in 1984. She completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Sign Language from Madonna University in 1995 and a Certificate in French from the University of Western Ontario in 1996. She earned the degree of Doctor of Education from Nova Southeastern University in 2000. Dr. Toth is a Substance Abuse Professional and has been trained to provide Critical Incident Stress Debriefing, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, Emotional Freedom Techniques and Somatic Experiencing.
Dr. Toth is a Registered Social Worker through the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, and a member in good standing of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. She provides services in English, French, and American Sign Language.
Dr. Toth has over 40 years of experience, working with people of all ages, as individuals, families and groups in community-based, public, government, and private agencies. Since 1984, she has operated a private practice serving people affected by trauma, disability, abuse, bereavement, substance abuse, addiction, adoption, interpersonal and work-related issues. She holds contracts with a number of employee assistance programs and accepts insurance referrals for disability recovery and workforce re-entry. Dr. Toth believes in the value of life, the exercise of humanity, and the commitment to improve and sustain our environment for this generation and those to come.
