Antonia earned a Masters degree in Social work from the University of Windsor, she holds an undergraduate degree in Social science with honors in Thanatology and Indigenous studies at Western University, and in addition, she holds a certificate in Grief and Bereavements Studies from Kings University College, Western University.

Antonia has been advocating for social justice and has been practicing using an anti-oppression framework. Her personal and professional interest has been working with and supporting people with marginalized identities.

Using an anti-oppression framework and a client-centered approach, Antonia supports clients in addressing issues of trauma in reference to historical, intergenerational or current abuse issues, grief and bereavement and other significant losses. Antonia draws on a variety of therapeutic techniques such as mindfulness-based, cognitive-behavioral and experiential interventions using Narrative Exposure Therapy, Somatic experience and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
