Leah is registered as a qualifying member with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, as well as a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Leah graduated with a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology following undergraduate training in Sociology and Psychology. Leah has spent many years working in the field of mental health and addictions, with a specialization in CBT and crisis support. Working from a client-centered and humanist perspective, Leah ensures a non-judgmental, empathetic, positive regard for each and every client that comes through the door, creating an environment which fosters change. Leah draws upon an assortment of strategies and tools to address the needs of the client, including recent training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
