Gladys provides counselling support to individuals and couples with a warm, accepting and strengths-focused approach. Graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Master’s in Social Work in 2013, she is a Registered Social Worker. Gladys specializes in Somatic Experiencing, a body-oriented approach to the healing of trauma and other stress disorders. Her perspectives are influenced by her values in social justice and feminism. Before choosing social work as her career, she worked as a teacher in Winnipeg, Victoria and Japan. Gladys joined the Daya team in 2015.
